Spiritual Wholeness for Clergy

This book is an uncompromising truth-teller about the frailty and sins of clergy, yet is full of hope because the truth really does set us free...  This book is about the road to forgiveness and fullness of life by the means of God's 'awkward grace'-- a healing and hopeful book.              Alan Jones

At last we have a clear and thorougly researched book that deals with some of the specific psychological problems that affect 'clergy persons' as a professional group.  Using the tools of the liturgy, scripture, and modern therapeutic techniques, this book addresses the issues of alcholism, compulsive behavior, and obsessiveness, pointing the way to a comprehensive  spiritual recovery plan.  The authors are not afraid to ask what is the spiritual healing involved for Christians in our ongoing relationship with Jesus, and this is done with a gentle style that is neither threatening or doctrinaire.  I particularly enjoyed the chapters that dealth with intimacy, affecting our relationship with ourselves, others, and God.                 Father Leo Booth

If you are a subscriber of the Lancaster PRC, feel free to check this book out of our library.  If you're not, maybe you will want to peruse it on Amazon.

Peace to you.  Take good care of yourselves...
